Progressive Lenses

Progressive lenses have come a long way. Often called the “invisible” bifocal, progressive lenses make it impossible for others to tell that you’ve reached that “bifocal” age!

Progressive lenses, sometimes called “no-line bifocals,” not only give you a more youthful appearance by eliminating the visible lines found in bifocal (and trifocal) lenses they can dramatically help with your vision. Beyond being just a multifocal lens, progressive lenses offer other advantages including the ability to see at all distances, including at arm’s length for computer use and up close for reading.

Progressive lenses more closely mimic our natural vision before the onset of presbyopia. Instead of providing just two lens powers like bifocals (or three, like trifocals), progressive lenses are true “multifocal” lenses that provide a smooth, seamless progression of many lens powers for clear vision across the room, up close and all distances in between. With progressive lenses, there’s no need to bob your head up and down or adopt uncomfortable postures to see your computer screen or other objects at arm’s length.

Transitions everyday lenses are designed to be worn indoors and to automatically adapt when you go outdoors saving you the time and the hassle of switching between 2 pairs of prescription glasses. Transitions lenses provide the wearer with a comfortable viewing experience while providing eye protection from damaging UV light.
